Serious Dance. Serious Fun.
Guys Who Get the Pointe! - Fall Class begins September 7, 2011
The Boys Scholarship Program was established in 2008 by the Oregon Ballet Foundation, in partnership with the Oregon Ballet Academy.
The tuition free program was created to offer a place for boys to feel encouraged to pursue the art of dance, in an environment that stresses hard work, dedication, focus - and a lot of fun!
The Program is open to boys between the ages of 9-21. The class is taught by OBA director John Grensback, a professional ballet dancer with Houston Ballet (principal), New York City Ballet and Joffrey Ballet.
Classes meet Wednesdays from 6:15-7:30pm.
The Boys Scholarship Program has been generously supported by the Oregon Ballet Foundation, Lane Arts Council and Lane Cultural Coalition.
