The mission of the Oregon Ballet Foundation is to promote, support and
train youth in the joy of quality dance in an environment that builds confidence,
self esteem and positive relationships. Established in 2006, the Foundation was created as a sister organization to the Oregon Ballet Academy. Its vision and purpose is to provide resources to support student dance scholarships, mentorship, performances and community awareness of the joy of dance. In its first year, the Foundation produced its first all-children's production of The Nutcracker. In 2008, the Foundation has developed a Boys Scholarship Program, sponsoring a tuition-free All Boys Ballet Class.
The Oregon Ballet Foundation is committed to supporting talented, motivated dancers in need of tuition assistance. Many deserving students have no outlet for their creative energies due to lack of money to participate. We provide tuition assistance to students and families who cannot afford dance class fees at the Oregon Ballet Academy, our sister institution. In addition, we provide deserving students with the necessary equipment to participate in dance classes such as shoes, tights and leotards.
We would like to thank our local sponsors for their generous contributions to keep dance alive in the Eugene/Springfield community.
The Foundation relies on gifts from many generous organizations and individuals. Please consider making a tax-deductible contribution to support the Foundation's mission and programs. Checks or Money Orders should be made payable to Oregon Ballet Foundation and mailed to the following address:
