Oregon Ballet Academy is a busy, lively ballet studio focused on youth ages 3-18 with some adult classes. Our motto is “Serious dance, serious fun.” We typically present two public performances at Lane Community College each year and offer dance camps and other summer programs.​

Oregon Ballet Academy seeks a part-time Studio Manager/Receptionist to oversee late afternoon and evening classes during the school year and daytime classes during the summer. The usual schedule will be Monday through Thursday 3:00-6:30 pm and Saturday 9:00 am-4:00 pm with occasional additional work for special events and performances.
The Studio Manager/Receptionist oversees the scheduling of classes, rehearsals, private lessons, and studio rentals in tandem with the artistic director and OBA instructors. The role includes processing tuition and class payments, updating the calendar and website, overseeing data entry, composing programming correspondence, and other duties as needed.
Stationed in the lobby of OBA, the Studio Manager/Receptionist is typically the first person to interact with students and parents. They are a representative of the studio and should be a welcoming and friendly steward of the space. An ideal candidate for this role will demonstrate excitement and enthusiasm about interacting with the many people who attend OBA and utilize the space.
Essential Responsibilities:

Process tuition, private lessons, and rental payments

Maintain and update the schedule for classes and other programming

Update the calendar and website

Help with marketing tasks

Greet and welcome current and incoming parents and students

Clearly communicate tuition, program schedules, and regulations to parents and students
Required Skills/Qualifications:

General knowledge of digital technology and ability to learn new programs

Preferred Experience and Skills:

Experience with Canva

Experience with administrative softwares (Dance Studio Pro, Studio Director, Jackrabbit, etc.)

Knowledge of website creation and editing

Familiarity with ballet or other dance forms
